Anti Roll Bar Kits

If your car is equipped with an Anti Roll bars as standard it may be (depending on model) possible to upgrade using an Eibach Anti Roll Bar Kit.  The Eibach brand is well known amongst Tuning companies worldwide for their brand of top quality suspension kit, shock absorbers and lowering springs.  To compliment the suspension range which is the primary suspension enhancement they also produce a range of anti roll bar kits to fine tune your cars handling characteristics.  These products are designed to reduce excessive body roll when you drive your car through a curve.  The Eibach antiroll bar kit reduces body roll due to the high strength steel bar being designed to be stiffer than the standard equipment anti roll bars.  Manufactured using high quality cold formed aircraft grade steel they are finished in a red powder coat for a long lasting corrosion free life.  The Eibach anti roll bar kits come complete with all the necessary mounting hardware and instructions for easy on car installation.  If you equip your car with an Eicbach anti roll bar kit your car will corner flatter and at higher speed improving the handling and your confidence.  The Eibach anti roll bar kit can be used with standard suspension but for best results fit in conjunction with a performance suspension kit.  Although Eibach is a German company and covering many of the German Marques such as BMW and Audi Anti roll bars they also cater for other cars such as the Skoda Fabia anti roll bar kit.  One of the more recent additions to the range is the Golf anti roll bar kit for the mk5 model.  We can source Whiteline anti roll bar kits and H&R anti roll bar kits if you prefer these brands or Ebaich does not list your model.steel sthrough increased stiffness compared to the standard item.

Shock Absorbers

We can supply Sports Shock absorbers for most popular performance cars. Shock absorbers are sometimes called car dampers or shocks but these are all the same product.  We can source most leading shock absorber brands including Eibach pro damper.  Lots of customers spend time and money modifying their pride and joy with engine tuning body kits and wheel and tyre packages when for improvement per pound it’s hard to beat changing tired car shock absorbers for new front shock absorbers and new rear shock absorbers.  The shock absorber performs two tasks on your car low speed damping and high speed damping.  Low speed damping is when you corner in the car and the car leans to one side.  During this process the shock absorber is the main item controlling lean and angle of the body.  High speed damping is when the car is going over uneven surfaces.  The cars coil spring absorbs the energy and the shock absorber controls the coil spring.  The combination of the spring and shocker working together produce good ride quality.
When choosing performance suspension look for gas shock absorbers this usually means the shock absorber is oil filled and has a pocket of gas inside to maintain performance under tough conditions.  Some competition shock absorbers are gas filled but not designed for road use.  Make sure you buy shock absorbers with shortened stroke piston rods when combining extreme lowering spring kits with sports shock absorbers.  These don’t have to be expensive we import a range of TUV approved Shortened piston rod dampers which although are cheap shock absorbers they are excellent quality  you won’t find Audi shock absorbers or BMW shock absorbers as good value anywhere in the UK.  We can offer adjustable shock absorbers for a wide range of cars.  These are adjustable for rate or stiffness so you can choose ride comfort or handling.

Sports Spring Kits

Sports lowering spring kits are very popular with our customers because for minimal outlay your cars looks and handling are improved dramatically.  Once fitted the new lowered stance makes the car look more aggressive and is one of the things car manufacturers do when producing a top of the range Sporting model.  The Honda lowering kit standard on the Civic Type R is a good example being much lower than say the standard 1.4 imagine Civic though both are offered in the three door body style.  The lowering coil spring kit works by being made to give the car a lower ride height and centre of gravity.  Lowering the cars centre of gravity provides sharper handling with less body roll when cornering.  The trade off with a cheap spring kit is on some cars is the ride comfort especially at low speed can be affected especially on cars with older dampers.  With a top quality lowering spring kit such as the Eibach spring kit you maintain an excellent ride and still benefit from the performance of the lowering spring kit.  This is achieved by using more of the expensive metals that go into making coil springs such as chromium, Nickel and magnesium.  The Eibach pro kit springs are lowered typically 40mm where the more extreme Eibach Sportline lowering spring kit can be as low as -50mm or more.  The lowering spring kit is often the first step when tuning your cars suspension.  The sports lowering spring kit will work with standard shock absorbers but for best results match with sports shock absorbers.  You can fit sports shock absorbers later though make sure you buy shortened piston rod dampers if you’re lowering springs are -50mm or more.  It’s worth checking the price of a performance suspension kit as it sometimes works out cheaper than buying springs and shock separately.

Suspension Kits

Performance suspension kits combine the performance of the sports lowering spring kit with sports specification car shock absorbers while maintaining a sensible quality of ride comfort.  A cheap suspension kit will include a set of lowering springs and shock absorbers make sure this is a matched set made by the same manufacturer ideally TUV approved with gas shockers.   Some cheap suspension kits available in the UK are standard spec shockers boxed up with lowering springs.  This won’t produce the best result.  We supply the Streetline suspension kit for many models which offers a great spec and excellent value.  The best suspension kit you can buy for additional performance are coilover suspension kits.  The coil over suspension kit is an adjustable suspension kit.  The driver can adjust the cars ride height by moving a spring pan up or down the central threaded part of the shock absorber.  More specialised coil over kits are adjustable for rate or stiffness.  This is ideal if you want a firm track day setting but less stiff for use during the week.  With the better spec Tein coilver kits you can adjust the damping force from the driver’s seat if you opt for the Tein EDFC damping force controller.  The Tein coil over range is aimed at Jap performance parts cars.  Civic coil over kits and other Honda coil over kits including Prelude coil over kits are available from Tein.  Tein suspension also produces Audi A4 coil over kits and BMW coil over kits with the range of euro applications being added to all the time.   If Tein don’t produce a kit for your European car then Eibach offer Golf coilover kits and Passat coil over kits.  We are adding to our website full suspension kits from Gmax suspension kits Spax suspension kits H&R suspension kits Cobra suspension kits KW suspension kits Bilstein suspension kits Koni suspension kits Avo suspension kits and Cusco suspension kits.

If you own one of the many French cars that come equipped with Torsion bar rear suspension you will find that the suspension kits you are offered have two front springs, two front shock absorbers and two rear shock absorbers.  This is because the torsion bar replaces the usual coil springs on the rear of the vehicle.  The torsion bar can be adjusted to lower the rear ride height by a competent workshop such as our own.  This is not really a DIY job.

Suspension Tuning

By changing the ride height of your vehicle using a lowering spring kit or performance suspension kit you can expect the vehicle’s suspension geometry to also change.   Camber is the setting most severely changed.  This not only looks strange on the car with the top of the wheel and tyre sometimes angled in toward centre of the car but affects the rate of tyre wear and the vehicles handling.  We offer a range of camber adjustment kits for many Japanese, European and US vehicles.  When you are performance suspension tuning either camber adjustment or steering alignment make sure the person fitting has the necessary experience and equipment to do the job safely and correctly.  Fitting any car suspension tuning product incorrectly can result in losing control or damage to the car, or worse still personal injuries.
Eibach alignment products are available for a wide range of cars including BMW, Honda, Audi, and VW.  Honda Civic made from 01992-2001 are well catered for by the Eibach alignment range with front upper control arm and rear lower control arms being available.  The later Civic Type R EP3 model is also catered for with camber changing suspension links and adjustable camber bolts.
Tein pillow ball upper mounts can have an adjustable camber plate for cars equipped with strut type front suspension.  This is for the front of the vehicle to correct camber angles.  Tein produce many other suspension tuning items such as the Tein performance bar which is a range of strut braces designed to minimise the body shell flex in-between the strut towers when driving quickly.
